Due to ill health Nigel Harrison was unable to present his talk on the ‘Secrets of Chelsea’ to members. At very short notice three Club members stepped in to save the day providing the meeting with five wonderful demonstrations and a great deal of laughter. Minutes of the Meeting of the Bradford Flower Club held on Monday 13th December 2010 at Haworth Road Methodist Church: Members and Guests were given a very warm welcome. Due to snow and ice it was hoped everyone had managed to keep warm. Unfortunately due to this bad weather the Christmas Flower Festival at Shibden Hall had to be cancelled. We were entertained by Jan Faulkner with a splendid demonstration of “Christmas Sparkle”. After the meeting everyone joined in our ‘Christmas Fuddle’. Our festive table groaned with donations of goodies and we all enjoyed a good start to our Christmas celebrations. Members dressed the part and Mrs Jean Winder won the competition for best dressed member.
