“Playing with Flowers” Flower Demonstration by Janine Grey
Monday 17th February at 7.30pm with refreshments following the demonstration
Haworth Road Methodist Church.

Janine produced seven main arrangements on the night using biodegradable floral foam and other mechanics to display her flowers.  Some of the arrangements could be split and so more were available for the raffle at the end of the evening.

Spring flowers and bulbs were used in many of the designs and made all members feel as though spring was just around the corner even though the evening was very cold and windy.

The meeting was informed by Janine that the RHS would be banning the use of the standard floral foam in the near future. She felt that NAFAS may then follow this lead.

At the end of the evening the stage looked very colourful with her many different designs.

Eulie gave the vote of thanks and the meeting was followed by refreshments.
