Minutes of the Meeting of the Bradford Flower Club held on Monday 21^st March 2011 at Haworth Road Methodist Church:

Our Chairman gave Members a warm welcome to our March meeting and special welcome was given to Guests who had attended for the evening demonstration given by Eileen Barraclough. She was sure all would be amazed with the arrangements.

 Our Chairman hoped everyone had enjoyed the Dinner on the 7th March. She thought the room looked splendid and said that a lovely thankyou card had been received from Sue Maddocks, which had been put on the notice board.

 The minutes of the February club meeting had also been put on the board and would be signed at the end of the evening if everyone was in agreement.

There were still a few places left on the Coach to Shibden on the 2^nd April. Entrance Tickets would be given out on the coach on the day. For those wishing to make their own way to the Hall it is open 10.00 till 4.00 on Thursday 31^st March, Friday 1^st and Saturday 2^nd April. It was thought the visit would be well worth it.

 On the 9^th April there is the Lord Mayor’s Masquerade Ball at the Hilton Hotel Bradford 7pm until 1.00. Champagne reception, 5 course dinner, followed by dancing and cabaret and a charity auction. Tickets are £36.50. Details are on the notice board.

 The Harrogate Spring Show runs from the 14^th  to 17^th April. Again details were on the notice board.

The guest evening is on the 16^th May. There will be a cake stall with the proceeds going to the Lord Mayor’s appeal for Nell Bank.

A very warm welcome was then given to Eileen Barraclough and her title Another World Than This.

 

The Vote of Thanks was given by Margaret Walker. 

All were then thanked for attending. The next meeting would be on the 18^th April  when our demonstrator would be  Margaret Titman with her title FOR YOUR PLEASURE.

All were invited to have a cup of tea or coffee before leaving and asked to take care and arrive home safely.
