Wendy Elliott and Sally Lockwood attended the North East Area Luncheon on Saturday 11th April, along with other members of Bradford Flower Club. The luncheon was held at the lovely old Parsonage Hotel in Escrick, near York with several hundred members present.

The dining room was beautifully decorated with stunning flower arrangements on each table.

We enjoyed a lovely meal served by attentive staff. After lunch we were entertained by the popular Dulcie Lewis, a well known speaker, her talk titled “Powder, Paints and Corsets”. She was extremely witty and humorous and kept us all laughing throughout with her stories and interaction with her audience – definitely for the “invite back list”.

It was a wonderful day meeting old friends again in such beautiful surroundings.
