Guidelines for the 2016 Bradford Flower Club Photographic Competition

1. The competition is open to all Bradford Flower Club members.

2. The entry fee is £1.00 per photograph entered.

3. Photographs may be taken with a film or digital camera.

4. No photograph that has won a NAFAS or Club award may be entered into the competition.

5. No photograph may be entered in more than one class.

6. If not solely floral the photo should have at least some floral &/or foliage content.

Class 1             “A New Beginning”

Class 2             “Patterns in the Landscape”

Class 3             “Herbaceous Border”

Class 4             “Out of the Ordinary”

The following details should be attached to the entry:
i)   Class number entered
ii)  Competitor’s name
iii) The top of the photograph to be indicated.

7. Entrants submitting photographs of floral exhibits should where possible acknowledge the arranger or state if the exhibit is the photographer’s own work.

8. All photographs must have been taken by the competitor.

9. Every care will be taken of entries but Bradford Flower Club cannot be responsible for entries that are lost or damaged.

10. The judge’s decision is final.

11. Club Members will vote for an overall winner.

12. The closing date for entries is the May 2016 Club Meeting.

13. Prize giving and display of entries will be at the Club meeting in July 2016.
